About the event
A Brother since 2009 John had a varied career after he left Winchester College. He will tell us in vivid detail about the world-famous Department Store.
John and his sister were taken by their Mother , once a week from their house in Holland park to Harrods, via Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park, to sleep in Harrods' basement on nights during the war, when their father was in charge of fire watching. If one went all should go! Bedtime stories were how Harrods happened.
The entry charge includes a glass of wine on arrival. The cost is £12.50.
