The Friends of St Cross Hospital Winchester is an independent charity established in 2011. Our main objects are to:

• Assist the Trustees of the Hospital in funding the maintenance of the property and ground-works within the Hospital precincts.
• Organize activities to widen the appreciation of the historical and architectural significance of the Hospital buildings and gardens, and to support the Hospital’s role as an active community of Brothers.

It is a great honour to have been invited to serve as Chairman of the Friends Trustees and I look to my Fellow Trustees and  our expanding network of Friends, both old and new, to help guide our exciting development in the weeks and months ahead.  The Friends of St. Cross Hospital warmly welcomes all who love or admire its iconic presence or simple tranquillity and I encourage everyone to get involved, from both secular or religious backgrounds and, by so doing, become part of the extended St. Cross Family of Friends.  Together, we can achieve so much for mutual benefit and personal enjoyment.  Life is for living and having fun and we all need Friends to share the fun!
