FRIENDS EVENT CALENDAR 2012 – as at 31st December 2011
The following diary of Friends events and activities is planned for 2012 and will be developed and communicated to all Members of The Friends of St Cross Hospital at appropriate times during the year. Friends are encouraged to diarise the key dates and support as many events as possible. Other events, both fundraising and social, such as Coffee Mornings, Lunch, Tea or Bridge Parties, may be organised by one or more Friends. If you wish to hold or are willing to organise such an event, please make contact with the Friends office or one of the Trustees named on the back of this calendar. Other suggestions for an event or activity will be welcomed.

MAY SATURDAY 19TH
FIRST ANNUAL FRIENDS DAY
2.00pm – 5.00pm
BRETHREN’S HALL, BOWLING GREEN AND CHURCH Our inaugural Friends’ Open Day and AGM to include a talk, followed by Tea and a Friends Festival Evensong.

JUNE WEDNESDAY 20TH
OUTING TO CHRISTCHURCH PRIORY
9.30am departure 5.00pm arrival home
CHRISTCHURCH
A coach outing from St Cross to Christchurch Priory with a guided tour followed by a light luncheon and, if fine, a boat trip down the River Stour to Mudeford. This will be a ticket event.

JULY SUNDAY 15th
FRIENDS CELEBRATION DAY
11.00am to 5.00pm
HOSPITAL GROUNDS
A Friends’ Open Day to celebrate the 880th Anniversary of the Founding of St Cross Hospital, The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the forthcoming 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

NOVEMBER SATURDAY 10th
INAUGURAL FRIENDS CONCERT
7.30 pm – 10.00 pm
ST CROSS CHURCH
Our inaugural Concert featuring, music, poetry, drama etc. This will be a ticket event.

JANUARY – 2013 FRIDAY 4th
FRIENDS RECEPTION
6.30pm – 8.30pm
